Use your specialist consultation and coaching skills to provide senior support to managers and practitioners across BYS.

The Practice Lead provides senior practice support across BYS strengthening a consistent evidenceinformed practice culture and supporting highquality service delivery to young people and their families. The role provides specialist consultation coaching and guidance to practitioners and managers in complex highrisk and ambiguous practice situations.

Working collaboratively with leaders across the organisation the Practice Lead supports organisational strategy continuous improvement and capability building and plays a key role in embedding the BYS Practice Framework across all programs within the scope of their role.

Youll be a great candidate for this role if you:

• Have a tertiary qualification in Social Work Human Services Psychology Social Sciences or a related discipline or substantial demonstrated experience in a related field.
• Can demonstrate extensive experience in youth and family services providing practice leadership professional guidance and support that strengthens service quality team capability and positive outcomes for young people.
• Have expertise in practice development and workforce capability building by embedding frameworks and evidence informed tools and approaches across different service delivery settings.
• Are skilled in reflective practice facilitation coaching and consultation with the ability to navigate complexity uncertainty and ethical dilemmas while supporting sound decision-making.
• Have strong risk assessment and safety planning capability with excellent knowledge of escalation and reporting pathways and the confidence to respond to complex practice concerns.
• Are a collaborative and relational leader with excellent written communication skills able to influence diverse teams and translate evidence into practical tools guidance and expectations.

Given the work that we do there will be a few non-negotiables. Youll need to be able to have or obtain prior to commencement:

• A Working with Children Suitability Card Blue Card.
• A National Coordinated Criminal History Check Police Check.
• Evidence of vaccination immunity or medical exemption for the following preventable diseases Measles Mumps Rubella Varicella Chicken Pox and Pertussis Whooping Cough.
