The role

We are looking for a Legal Practice Assistant (PA) to join ourLitigation team based in this role you will supporta Partner and a team of lawyers while also providing support toother stakeholders across the business as required.

This is a varied and hands-on role suited to a career PA whoenjoys building strong relationships staying organised anddelivering high-quality support in a busy professional servicesenvironment.

Responsibilities

  • Core administrative support including diary management meeting coordination travel arrangements file management and management of internal and external communications
  • Billing and financial administration including monthly billing support expense management client reporting and coordination of outstanding invoices
  • Litigation and disputes support including document preparation formatting and amendment creation of templates and court-related documentation management of key deadlines and general matter administration
  • Preparation and formatting of documents and presentations across Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel
  • Team support including proactively anticipating needs coordinating workflows providing coverage support when required and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the firm

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or Practice Assistant within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Exposure to litigation disputes or broader legal practice areas is advantageous with an understanding of litigation processes and court documentation highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy particularly when preparing and formatting documents
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • Previous experience supporting billing processes and working with financial systems is preferable
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel with strong document formatting skills
  • Willingness to attend the office for a minimum of four days per week
  • A proactive collaborative and client-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support
