  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary up to $120287 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

At The University of Western Australia were strengthening the way we manage our workforce. Were looking for an experienced Position Management Advisor to establish and lead our position management function ensuring our organisational structures and workforce data are accurate well governed and enable great people outcomes.

This is a newly created opportunity to shape how position management is delivered across one of Australias leading universities. Youll design and embed consistent processes maintain the Universitys position establishment and organisational hierarchy and ensure workforce data supports payroll accuracy compliance and informed decision making.

About the opportunity

  • Establish and manage the Universitys position management framework.
  • Own the integrity of the organisational hierarchy and position establishment.
  • Design and continuously improve position management processes and governance.
  • Ensure workforce data is accurate consistent and audit ready.
  • Partner with People & Culture Payroll Finance and Schools to support organisational change and workforce planning.
  • Provide expert advice on position management and organisational structures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality strengthen controls and streamline processes.

About you

  • You enjoy creating structure improving processes and ensuring data integrity. You understand how accurate position management underpins payroll compliance and effective workforce planning.
  • Youll bring experience in position management payroll workforce administration HR systems or a related discipline along with:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing organisational structures and workforce data.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on practical solutions.
  • Experience working in a complex organisation is highly regarded.
