About the role
Reporting to the Enterprise Change Practice Manager with a dotted line to the Portfolio Enablement Lead the Portfolio Change Manager isa member of the Portfolios Enablement Stream leadershipteam andisresponsible for leading and delivering (through a team of Change Management professionals) all change management artefactsactivities outputsand outcomes. This includes the development of high-quality artefacts materials and reporting to support people readiness successful go-live and effective handover to the business enabling progressive and sustainable change delivery across the portfolio. A key focus of the role is to drive a cohesive portfolio-wide approach to change proactively addressing risks managing interdependenciestimingand aligning with broader enterprise initiatives(via the Enterprise Change Practice).
The ideal candidate is a senior leader with deepexpertisein delivering large-scale complex change and transformation. You will be confident working with highly technical and scientifically minded stakeholders able to navigate ambiguity and uncertaintywith ease and skilled at leading a team of change professionals to achieve both individual and shared outcomes. Strong stakeholder engagementskillsand the ability to influence and deliver results in complex environments are essential.
This is a 12month Fixed TermContractwiththe flexibility to be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
What you will be doing
- Oversee thedelivery ofend-to-end change management activities aligned to the Enterprise Change Framework ensuring high-quality artefacts and adherence to best practice and qualitystandards.
- Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end portfolio change management including defining scope strategies and plans aligned to the Enterprise Change Framework and best practice principles.
- Provide leadership to the Change team including resource planning demand management onboarding/offboarding andestablishingan effective team operating rhythm.
- Lead and support the Change team overseeing performance capabilitydevelopmentand recruitment in partnership with the Enterprise Change Practice.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality change artefacts and activities across the portfolio including impact assessments change strategies communications learning and business readiness.
- Drive governance reporting and quality assurance across portfolio change initiatives providing insights to leadership and managing risksissuesand dependencies.
- Collaborate across internal teams externalvendorsand enterprise functions to deliver aligned communications engagement and learning outcomes and continuously uplift change capability and practices.
What you will bring to the role
- Extensive senior-level experience delivering end-to-end change management and transformation across large-scale complex programs including technology and operating model initiatives.
- Deepexpertiseacross core change disciplines including impact assessments strategy and planning communications engagement learning and training people readiness and change handover.
- Excellentleadershipskills withdemonstratedexperience leading and coaching teams of change professionals to deliver shared outcomes.
- Advanced skills in strategic thinking continuous planningfacilitationand co-design with a proven ability to resolve complex change challenges and drive organisational outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence build relationships and drive behavioural change across diverse audiences.
- Relevant qualificationsaccreditationand certifications in change management or related disciplines (e.g. Change Management Institute APMG PROSCI) with experience applying recognised methodologies (desirable).
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen with the ability toattainand maintainan appropriate levelof national security clearance issued by AGSVA.
