Pool Supervisor

Temporary (through to 23 March 2027)
Part-time (minimum 20 hours per week)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced supervisor to assist with thecoordination of day-to-day operations of the Aqua Jettys aquaticfacility providing safe and customer focussed service position provides leadership and direction to staff ensuringthat all areas of the aquatic facility are operatingefficiently.

You will love interacting with members patrons staff and thewider community promoting the Aqua Jetty as a safe and funenvironment for everyone. Knowledgeable about aquaticemergency and evacuation procedures and experienced with lifesupport equipment and you know that you can remain calm duringstressful situations. You are an excellent communicator and havewell developed interpersonal skills.

You must possess a current Aquatic Technical OperationCertificate LIWA Accreditation Pool Lifeguard CertificateSelf-Contained Breathing Apparatus and Chlorine Gas HandlingTraining and up to date Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate.

To be considered for this role you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

1. A sound knowledge of aquatic facility operation programming and marketing
2. The ability to set priorities manage time coordinate resources and monitor performance
3. Practical knowledge of Health and Dangerous Goods Regulations and WHS legislation relevant to the role
4. Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
5. An ability to negotiate solutions to problems and remain calm when dealing with complaints

What we offer

The hourly rate for this position is as follows:

$43.92 per hour plus superannuation
