Plumber

About the Role

As a Tradesman Plumber youll be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of piping systems fixtures and equipment related to water gas sewage air and industrial waste. Youll work both independently and as part of a skilled maintenance team ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently in line with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct install maintain and repair plumbing systems (including fire and lawn sprinklers)

• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex plumbing faults

• Assist in maintaining underground sewer and water systems

• Perform welding cutting and soldering as needed for repairs

• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures

• Maintain records and certifications in line with site and legislative requirements

About You

Youre a hands-on professional with great problem-solving skills a strong safety mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Youre committed to maintaining high standards and enjoy working in a role that keeps critical operations running smoothly.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Qualified Plumber (Trade Certificate or Licence)

• 12 years plumbing experience post-qualification

• White Card (Construction Induction)

• Valid Drivers Licence

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

Desirable (not essential):

• CPR / First Aid Certification

• Confined Space Entry & Working at Heights

• Forklift and Elevated Work Platform Licence

Security & Medical Requirements

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security and medical clearance applicable to the role. This position requires the ability to hold and maintain one of the following:

• Initially an NV1 clearance is needed with the intent to apply for a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) (Australian Department of Defence) or

• TS/SCI with Polygraph (U.S. Clearance) - Applicants must also meet medical clearance requirements specific to the site.
