About The Opportunity

We are seeking multiple Plant Operators to join our Civil team based at the Childers Depot. These hands-on roles are part of a multi-disciplined crew responsible for delivering road drainage and civil maintenance works that directly support our local community.

As a multi-skilled operator you will operate heavy rigid vehicles and a variety of mobile plant contribute to construction and maintenance activities and ensure works are delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard. These roles also support emergency response activities and may involve after-hours work when required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in roads and drainage construction and maintenance.
  • A current HC (Heavy Combination) driver licence with proven experience operating heavy rigid vehicles.
  • Possession of a current Construction Industry General Safety Induction Card.
  • Demonstrated sound level ability to work within a team environment to ensure that outcomes are achieved.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with a variety of internal and external parties.
  • Flexibility to participate in after-hours and emergency works as required.
