Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients including bulk dozer push coal quality and recovery mobile crushing civil works and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop and a Queensland operations office we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently expanding our maintenance team with experienced Plant Mechanics. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team working on in-house Mineco owned and operated large scale civil and mining equipment.

About the Role

• Perform the servicing repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks Dozers & Loaders Hitachi excavators other ancillary equipment including Crushers and Screens
• Field Service & Workshop Positions available across Hunter Valley
• General Maintenance Servicing Breakdowns Component Change outs
• Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
• Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry
• Experience in general maintenance breakdowns component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
• Demonstrated experience with Liebherr Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment
• Diagnostic experience
