Job Summary

  • Competitive Salary: Level 4 $88979.28 (pro rata) per year / $45.03 per hour
  • Permanent Part Time / 45 Hours per fortnight
  • 12% superannuation Matched Super contributions up to 5%

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Planning & Building Administration Officer to support our Planning and Building team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills an interest in local government processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing coordinating and processing documentation related to building surveying and town planning
  • Managing correspondence and tracking building and planning applications in line with statutory obligations
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all transactions
  • Offering clerical administrative and technical support across the department
  • Conducting research and contributing to project assistance

About You

  • Certification IV in Business Administration or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in administration (local government experience desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret procedures policies and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and records management systems
  • A high level of customer service and professionalism
