You will make an impact by
- Providing high-quality administrative support for planning permit applications amendmentsapprovalsand related planning processes.
- Coordinating referralnotificationand submission processesin accordance withstatutory and strategic planning requirements.
- Delivering responsive and professional customer service through telephonecounterand written enquiries.
- Maintainingaccuraterecords databases formstemplatesand business systems to support efficient service delivery.
- Supporting planning staff with meetings community consultation activities documentationreportingand business improvement initiatives.
What you will bring
- Experience in general office administration within a busy and customer-focused environment with preferred experience in statutory planning administration.
- Strong computer skills includingproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- High attention to detail and the ability tomaintainaccuraterecords and information systems.
- Ability to research and interpret information including property-related records and documentation.
- A Certificate in Business (Office Administration) or equivalent experience is desirable along with an understanding of planning building and/or compliance matters.
