Placement Officer (Graduate School of Education)

• Base salary: $86540 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to theUniversitys schools including Heads of School academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools and Universitys strategic objectives with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the Universitys Schools.

About the opportunity

• Serve as the primary contact for students academic staff and placement organisations providing advice support and coordination throughout the placement process.
• Manage placement administration including placement allocations compliance documentation reporting stakeholder communication and adherence to University policies and legal requirements.
• Build and maintain industry partnerships support academic coordinators and placement-related assessments (LANTITE and TPA) and contribute to continuous process improvement and broader school operations.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in a range of computing skills including word processing spreadsheets databases internet and email.
