About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison to join our Respiratory Medical Affairs teamsupportinghighlyanticipatedfuture pipeline launchesacrossNew South Wales and Queensland.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of respiratory care before launch. Working at the forefront of science and innovationyoullengage with leading respiratory specialists healthcare professionalsscientificexpertsandclinical trial sites building trusted partnerships that help advance disease understanding and improve patient outcomes.
As a trusted scientific partneryoullplay a key role in generating medical insights supporting clinical researchactivitiesand helping prepare the healthcare community for emerging treatment advances.Youllalso collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues giving you broad exposure across Medical Affairs and the wider business.
Your role will be varied and will include:
Building strategic scientific partnerships with respiratory specialists key opinionleadersand healthcare professionals acrossthe territory
Leading high-quality scientific exchange on emerging data unmet patientneedsand evolving treatment pathways
Supporting clinical research activities through investigator engagement site identification and collaboration with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations teams
Identifyingand communicating medical insights that help shape medical strategy and future initiatives
Partnering cross-functionally across MedicalClinical OperationsCommercial and Market Access teams to deliver a customer-focused approach
About you
We are looking for a scientifically credible and externally focused medical professional who is passionate about advancing patient care through science.
Youllthrive in a highly collaborative environment enjoy building influential external partnerships and be excited by the opportunity to help bring innovative respiratory medicines to patients.
You will need:
An advanced science clinicalmedicalor healthcare-related qualification
Respiratory experience andexperience within Medical Affairs or the pharmaceutical industry
Strong scientific communication skills with the ability to engage confidently in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue
Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals externalexpertsand internal stakeholders
Ability to travel extensively across Queensland and New South Wales
