About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Picker to join our Recycling Facility in Newcastle.

Working as part of the production team you will be responsible for sorting and classifying recyclable and waste materials to support the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort various waste and recyclable materials into the appropriate bins and designated areas.
• Identify classify and separate different waste streams and recyclable products.
• Assist in maintaining material quality standards throughout the recycling process.
• Maintain a clean safe and organised work area

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to perform repetitive manual handling and physical tasks.
• The ability to work in an outdoor industrial environment.

Benedict promotes a safe work culture. The successful applicant will be required to participate in reference checking and a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
