The Physiotherapy Department at St Vincents Hospital Melbourne provides high-quality clinical services across a broad range of acute sub-acute and outpatient settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team our physiotherapists provide assessment treatment and therapeutic interventions that optimise patient care and maximise function. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Clinical Education team. This is a unique opportunity to provide leadership in clinical education and contribute to the ongoing development of Physiotherapy staff and students across St Vincents Hospital Melbourne. Reporting to the Physiotherapy Clinical Education Lead and Physiotherapy Manager you will contribute to the Physiotherapy Clinical Education Stream while continuing to support high-quality clinical services for our patients. You will play an important role in coordinating and promoting clinical education opportunities for Physiotherapy staff and students as well as contributing to broader Allied Health education initiatives where required.
The role includes supporting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and contributing to collaborative education projects across Allied Health St Vincents Health and partner universities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to take on a senior education-focused role within a supportive team committed to excellence in clinical practice education and research.
Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 3 VB7VC1 ($104135 - $118981 per annum pro rata for part time).
To be successful in this role you will have:
A minimum of 7 years clinical and/or clinical education experience
Completion of or progress towards a relevant postgraduate qualification
Demonstrated knowledge of Physiotherapy management and clinical service provision within a public healthcare setting
Recognition by professional peers as a clinical expert with broad and relevant clinical experience in your area of expertise
Demonstrated leadership management and networking skills
Highly developed communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and the wider organisation
Extensive experience supervising and supporting the professional development of Physiotherapists students and support staff
