Environmental Defenders Office (EDO) is the largest environmental legal centre in the Australia-Pacific dedicated to protecting our climatecommunitiesand shared environment by providing access to justice running ground-breaking litigation and leading law reform advocacy.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in contributing to EDOs philanthropy capability. Working within a mission-drivenorganisation you will help build the systems insights and processes that enable impactful donor engagement sustainablegrowthand meaningful change.

Candidate Profile:
We areseekinga drivencommittedand experiencedphilanthropyprofessional to join EDOs philanthropy teamas Philanthropy Operations & Insights Manager. You will bring experience inphilanthropyoperations donorinsightsand fundraising support with a proven ability to lead operational initiatives and strengthen systems and processes.

KeyResponsibilities include:
The keyresponsibilitiesof the Philanthropy Operations & Insights Manager include but are not limited to:
- Own and optimise the philanthropy CRM (currently Salesforce) and systems ensuring data integrityusabilityand alignment with fundraising strategy.
- Overseeaccurategift processing and data management with strong quality control and system integrity.
- Develop and embed scalable fundraising systems and processes for donor lifecycle management includingsegmentation moves management and pipeline tracking.
- Lead automation and workflow improvements to increase efficiency reduce manualhandlingand enablescale.
- Deliver dashboards reporting and forecasting to track income pipelinehealthand performance againsttargets.
- Generate insights to inform strategy and optimise campaigns appeals and donor journeys.
- Manage and refine the grants and reporting schedule coordinating workflowssign-offsand deadlinesacross teams.
- Identifyand implement improvements to enable scaleefficiencyand stronger donor outcomes.
- Maintaindatabase relationship management processes to plantrackand report on donor segments.
- Support the delivery of events (in person and online).
- Assistin the delivery of Philanthropy Appeals and the Annual Giving Program.
- Contribute to prospecting strategy through data analysis and identification of high-value opportunitiesincluding trusts and implement continuous improvements to systemsprocessesand team capability to drive efficiency and stronger donor outcomes.
Key selection criteria:
- Demonstrated experience inphilanthropyoperationsorfundraisingadministrationor donor services with the ability to support strategic fundraising initiatives and organisational priorities.
- Experience managing and optimising CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) includingmaintainingdata integrity gift processing reporting and donor lifecycle management processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience developing dashboards reporting and insights to inform fundraising strategy donorengagementand performance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and improve systemsworkflowsand operational processes to increase efficiencyscalabilityand effective donor management outcomes.
- Well-developed communication interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and coordinate competing prioritiesdeadlinesand stakeholder requirements.

Working with clients face-to-face:
- EDO works with diverse peoples and groups across the Australian and Pacific communities including people who are considered a high-risk group in terms of COVID-19.
