Job Summary

At Paralympics Australia we dont just support athletes. We challenge perceptions and inspire Australians to rethink whats possible.

Were seeking an experienced Philanthropy & Fundraising Lead who sees opportunities where others see limitations. Youll combine curiosity commercial thinking and relationship-building to growphilanthropy in new and meaningful ways.

Yes youll build relationships with major donors trusts and foundations. More importantly youll create new ways for individuals organisations and communities to support the Paralympic movementand the opportunities it creates for athletes with disability.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team Board and key stakeholders youll help shape the partnerships and philanthropic support that strengthen our long-term future.

This role may require occasional interstate travel and weekend work and can be based from our offices in either Sydney Melbourne or Brisbane.

  • A proven ability to grow philanthropy major giving or strategic partnerships

  • Curiosity and confidence to challenge conventional fundraising approaches

  • Outstanding relationship-building influencing and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Commercial acumen strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • A genuine belief in the power of the Paralympic movement to create lasting social impact

Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant qualifications in fundraising business marketing communications philanthropy social impact or a related field are desirable.

  • Membership of or engagement with the Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) or a similar professional body is highly regarded.

  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of contemporary philanthropy donor engagement and fundraising practice.
