Pharmacist In Charge

Take full clinical leadership as Pharmacist in Charge in a well-established regional community pharmacy in North Queensland.

Confident pharmacists ready to step into leadership or experienced Pharmacist in Charge applicants are encouraged to apply.

Roster:

• Full time 38 hours per week
• 5-day rotating roster
• Alternating Saturday shift
• Closed Sundays

About the role:

As Pharmacist in Charge you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of a well-established community pharmacy supported by the Douglas Chemists Group.

• Approx. 200250 scripts per day
• Dispensing via FRED system
• Clinical services including vaccinations medicinal cannabis Opioid Substitution Program (OAT) and Dose Administration Aids (DAAs)
• Lead daily clinical workflow and team coordination
• Provide clinical oversight and patient care within a community pharmacy setting
• Maintain relationships with local prescribers and healthcare providers

What were looking for:

This role is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge or a confident pharmacist ready to step into a leadership position and make a real impact in a regional community.

• Readiness to step into a leadership role or experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current AHPRA General Registration
• Minimum 3 years experience as a registered pharmacist
• Patient-focused approach to clinical care
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience with FRED dispensing software (advantageous)
