We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PET/NM Co-Ordinator to lead the establishment and ongoing management of our new PET diagnostic service at our new Footscray Clinic due to open in October 2026
This is a rare opportunity to be part of something from the beginning. Youll play a pivotal role in setting up a new service establishing clinical and operational excellence building a high-performing team and developing a service that will become an integral part of our growing radiology practice. Once established youll continue to lead the modality driving service growth operational performance and outstanding patient outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the local Chief MIT you will be responsible for the operational clinical commercial and people leadership of the PET/NM department.
Initially youll be involved in bringing the service to life by supporting commissioning activities developing workflows and protocols assisting with equipment readiness and helping build a culture of excellence from day one.
Once operational youll oversee the day-to-day management of the PET/NM service ensuring it continues to deliver exceptional clinical care an outstanding patient experience and strong business performance.
What Youll Be Doing
- Lead the successful launch of a brand-new PET diagnostic service.
- Build mentor and inspire a high-performing PET/NM team.
- Drive operational excellence workflow efficiency and patient-centred care.
- Ensure clinical quality regulatory compliance and radiation safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists Nuclear Medicine Physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop strong relationships with referring clinicians and key stakeholders.
- Monitor service performance utilisation and opportunities for continued growth.
- Champion innovation continuous improvement and clinical best practice.
About You
Youll be a confident clinical leader who enjoys balancing hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities. Youre passionate about delivering excellent patient care developing people and creating efficient high-performing services.
Youll also bring:
- Extensive PET/NM clinical experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within medical imaging.
