Strathcona Girls Grammar is seeking a highly organised and proactive Performing Arts Administration and Events Coordinator to support our thriving Music Drama and Productions programs. This is a dynamic and varied role for someone who enjoys working with people managing multiple projects and helping deliver outstanding experiences for students families and audiences.
About the Role
Working closely with the Heads of Music Drama and Productions you will coordinate administration communicate events and provide operational support across concerts productions performances ensembles and instrumental music programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the coordination of concerts productions festivals performances workshops and special events.
- Managing rehearsal schedules venue bookings event logistics ticketing and front-of-house arrangements.
- Administering the schools instrumental music and ensemble programs including enrolments timetabling and tutor coordination.
- Supporting music and speech & drama examinations music scholarships and co-curricular opportunities.
- Preparing communications programs promotional materials and event information for students families and staff.
- Liaising with instrumental music tutors performers suppliers technical providers and external organisations.
- Assisting with budgets invoices payroll administration resource purchasing and instrument hire management.
- Maintaining accurate records compliance documentation and school systems.
About You
You are an organised relationship-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
You will bring:
- Experience in administration events coordination or arts administration.
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confidence managing complex schedules and competing deadlines.
- Excellent digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft365 and database systems.
- Financial administration experience and strong attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for the Performing Arts Music Theatre or Events.
Experience in a school music performing arts or cultural organisation will be highly regarded as will experience with Synergetic Canva InDesign or similar platforms.
