As the performance marketing specialist at My Guardian you will be the driving force behind our digital acquisition engine. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital you will own the end-to-end execution optimisation and daily health of our paid search paid Meta and other paid campaigns. You are a hands-on technical practitioner who thrives on digging into daily account tasks translating user behaviour into performance and maximising return on ad spend across major search and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Account Tasks

Your primary focus is the day-to-day management and continuous optimisation of our paid digital channels.

Daily & Weekly Account Management
  • Pacing & Budget Guardrails: Actively monitor track and adjust daily/weekly budgets across Google Ads Meta Ads and other platforms to ensure zero overspend and optimal fluid budget allocation.

  • Bid Management: Execute daily bid adjustments keyword optimisations and target CPA/ROAS tweaks based on real-time performance data.

  • Search Query Audits: Review daily search query reports to expand negative keyword lists refine match types and uncover new high-intent keyword opportunities.

  • Creative & Ad Copy Health: Monitor ad health metrics (Quality Score Ad Relevance Frequency) and set up routine A/B testing variations for ad copies headlines and visual assets.

  • Audience Refinement: Regularly update and manage custom audiences lookalikes and remarketing lists to minimise ad fatigue and ensure precise targeting.

Strategy Tracking & Reporting
  • Campaign Launch: Build structure and deploy new campaigns from the ground up ensuring clean naming conventions and strict tracking parameter tagging.

  • Analytics & Troubleshooting: Monitor tracking daily and ensure accuracy in the data reported Conversion tracking stability and GA4 tracking to ensure data integrity.

  • Performance Reporting: Generate actionable weekly and monthly performance dashboards highlighting key metrics (CPA CTR Conversion Rate ROI) and providing clear next steps recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience: 7 years of dedicated hands-on experience managing medium-to-large scale Paid Search (Google Ads) and Paid Social (Meta LinkedIn) accounts.

  • Platform Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Google Ads Manager (Search Performance Max Display) and Meta Ads Manager is non-negotiable.

  • Data Literacy: Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables VLOOKUPs) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker Studio).

  • Technical Savvy: Solid understanding of tracking pixels tag management (GTM) attribution modelling and standard conversion tracking setups.

  • Mindset: A meticulous eye for detail. You are someone who genuinely enjoys structural account hygiene rigorous testing and data-driven problem-solving.
