Acting as a trusted advisor youll partner closely with leaders and managers to provide expert guidance across the full employee lifecycleensuring best practice compliance and a human-centred approach in everything we is a dynamic hands-on role where youll influence organisational outcomes by building capability strengthening culture and leading through complex people matters. From coaching leaders and supporting business initiatives to navigating sensitive employee relations issues and driving wellbeing programs you will create organisation-wide also take the lead on complex workplace matters including grievances investigations and return-to-work caseswhile championing positive change and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with specialist teams and external partners youll help embed People & Culture strategies that truly support our youre passionate about creating inclusive high-performing workplaces and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery this is your opportunity to make a meaningful youAs an experienced People & Culture practitioner youll demonstrate contemporary knowledge and expertise in leading workplace investigations; and effectively managing will have proven knowledge of Modern Awards (in particular SCHADS) Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards and demonstrated ability in providing advice and recommendations relevant to legislative frameworks across best practice a contemporary approach to stakeholder engagement you will demonstrate a strong ability in developing effective and valued relationships with executive leadership senior leaders and the broader and experienceSound technical knowledge and expertise in operational Human Resources (HR)Experience project planning and implementation including experience in leading processes of workplace change amidst restructures and business transformation activitySound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess evaluate and interpret data to make considered and ethical decisions with the ability to clearly describe the rationale behind decisions and recommendationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage support challenge and influence: working with internal stakeholders to problem solve providing pragmatic best practise solutions to emerging people to provide quality P&C advice and internal consultancy support which are directly related to the organisations strategic direction and business needsAbility to coach and upskill managers to effectively manage people issues within their teamsSound technical knowledge and experience in interpretation and application of industrial instrumentsAbility to work under general direction from senior employees work independently and with people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environmentAbility to set priorities plan and organise their own work to manage and support the competing needs of the client group and P&C initiativesBenefits that act for you while you act for humanityWork flexibility: Australian Red Cross offers flexible & hybrid working designed to balance flexibility with purposeful in-office collaboration; strengthen team culture build trust and drive wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
