P&C Consulting Manager (Employee Relations and Safety Expert)

This is a leadership role with breadth impact and real influence. As People & Culture Consulting Manager youll lead a multidisciplinary team across employee relations operational safety and wellbeing while partnering closely with leaders and People & Culture stakeholders across TAL. Youll bring together technical expertise sound judgement and people leadership to help ensure workplace matters are handled fairly consistently and with care. Just as importantly youll help uplift leader capability strengthen the people experience and drive smarter more sustainable ways of working across the function.

In this role you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing P&C Consulting team fostering an inclusive accountable culture where people feel empowered to do their best work. 
• Own and manage complex employee relations matters end-to-end providing clear expert advice across performance misconduct and investigations. 
• Oversee operational safety wellbeing and workers compensation ensuring incidents and claims are managed effectively while building a strong proactive safety culture. 
• Partner with leaders and P&C stakeholders to deliver practical people-first solutions aligned to business priorities and change initiatives. 
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes (including ServiceNow) using data and insights to uplift P&C service delivery and outcomes. 

Qualifications :

• Proven experience leading teams and building capability creating a culture that is inclusive accountable and high performing. 
• Strong expertise in employee relations confidently managing complex matters with sound judgement and a fair consistent approach. 
• Solid knowledge of employment legislation WHS and workers compensation with the ability to apply it in real-world practical ways. 
• Confident stakeholder partner able to influence guide and support leaders through sensitive and business-critical people matters. 
• Data-led and solutions-focused with a drive to improve systems processes and ways of working to deliver better outcomes.
