Payroll Specialist

Synergie Australia is seeking a PayrollSpecialist for a trusted client located in Milton QLD.

• Pay: $65 per hour Super Duration: 3-month contract
• Hours: Monday-Friday 38 hours per week

Youll support a major payroll transformation initiative working closely with payroll HR and business stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of new payroll systems and processes.

• Support the rollout testing and implementation of new payroll software
• Assist with payroll data migration validation and go-live activities
• Provide support across payroll project delivery and transformation initiatives
• Review payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Document standard operating procedures and standardise payroll workflows
• Ensure compliance with industrial instruments payroll legislation and governance requirements
• Analyse payroll data and support reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
• Act as a change champion supporting adoption of new systems and processes

• Have proven experience in a large multi-site multi-agreement payroll environment
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of payroll operations legislation compliance and governance
• Have experience supporting payroll projects payroll system implementations or payroll transformations
• Possess the ability to interpret industrial instruments awards and enterprise agreements
• Have strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills
• Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Have experience with HRIS and payroll systems analysis
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Be capable of managing competing priorities within a complex operational environment
• Have exposure to payroll systems such as Preceda and/or Kronos (highly regarded)
