Payroll Officer

If youre a finance professional looking for a change of pace or are finishing your higher education in a finance discipline this is your opportunity to join our friendly team at Novotel Brisbane South Bank! Were looking for a part-time Finance Officer for two days a week to process end-to-end payroll and ensure our team are paid accurately and on-time. Whilst reporting directly to the Hotel Financial Controller youll work closely with the People & Culture team to be a dependable source of information for payroll queries and compensation entitlements. 

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone with a background in finance who is detail orientated and has a passion for hospitality - if youre a people person with an analytical mind this is the role for you. Our ideal candidate has:

• Advanced computer literacy; proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and ReadyWorkforce payroll
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Prior experience within the Tourism & Hospitality industry and familiarity with the Hotel Industry (General) Award would be advantageous to your application
