Were now looking for a Payroll Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.
What Youll Do:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager youll play a key role in ensuring accurate compliant and timely payroll processing for a workforce of 4000 employees across Australia.
Responsibilities include:
- Process weekly and assist with fortnightly payroll cycles
- Manage payroll adjustments terminations and one-off payments
- Ensure accurate tax calculations across allowances bonuses and deductions
- Set up new starters and manage employee data in SAP ECP and EC (SuccessFactors)
- Process timesheets and reconcile leave balances
- Support general ledger reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Respond to employee payroll queries with a strong customer-first approach
- Maintain compliance with PAYG superannuation and employment legislation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team projects
What Youll Bring:
- Demonstrated payroll experience in a complex high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation (PAYG super awards)
- Knowledge of SAP ECP and EC (SuccessFactors) will be highly regarded
- High attention to detail and strong data accuracy
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
- Strong Excel and systems capability
- A team-first attitude with the ability to be collaborative positive and proactive
