ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking talented undergraduate or post-graduate studentswho have a genuine interest in becoming a patent attorney toundertake an internship with our Mechanical Engineering team inSydney.
The DCC Patent Internship Program provides hands on workexperience at a leading IP firm. You will have the opportunity towork alongside world leading patent attorneys contributing topatent drafting filing prosecution IP portfolio managementoppositions and litigation.
Our 2026-2027 internship program will run from November 2026 toFebruary 2027 (excluding the Christmas and New Year period). Eachinternship lasts 3 weeks with start and end dates tailored tosuccessful candidates availability.

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Completed 3-4 years of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in:
- mechanical engineering
- mechatronics
- aeronautical engineering
- biomedical engineering
- science with a specialisation in Physics
- a related field
