ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking talented PhD students or post-doctoralresearchers who have a genuine interest in becoming a patentattorney to undertake an internship with our Biotechnology team inMelbourne.

The DCC Patent Internship Program provides hands on workexperience where you will have the opportunity to work alongsidepatent attorneys across a diverse range of subject matterexpertise.

Our 2026-2027 internship program will run from November 2026 toFebruary 2027 (excluding the Christmas and New Year period). Eachinternship lasts 3 weeks with start and end dates tailored tosuccessful candidates availability.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • Undertaking or completed a PhD in a biotechnology-related area such as molecular biology genetics cell biology immunology oncology plant biology etc.

  • Strong analytical skills and a curious mind.
  • Commitment to outstanding client service.
  • Personal drive and motivation.
  • Exceptional academic record.
