Pastry Chef de Partie

In this role youll have the opportunity to contribute across a diverse range of pastry operations including Conferences & Events Banquets À La Carte Coffee Breaks Afternoon Tea and other F&B outlets and special events. Youll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for our guests through beautifully presented high-quality pastry products.

Youll bring a strong understanding of food safety hygiene and allergen management along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise production effectively in line with business demands. Creativity and innovation are highly valued as is a strong focus on consistency quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• Full working rights in Australia
• A relevant Trade Qualification in Patisserie or Pastry
• Previous experience in a fast-paced hotel restaurant or high-volume pastry environment
• Strong practical pastry skills with experience in the production and finishing of a diverse range of pastry products
• Excellent attention to detail with a genuine focus on consistency presentation and quality
• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a high-performing team
• Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently to meet production requirements and deadlines
• Flexibility and willingness to work across a variety of shifts including early mornings evenings and weekends in line with operational requirements
