About the Role
We are seeking a Pastoral Care Practitioner (Grade 1 or 2) to provide high-quality emotional and spiritual support to patients families and staff.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will deliver meaningful person-centred support that responds to diverse spiritual cultural and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist pastoral care across allocated wards in collaboration with clinical teams
- Assess spiritual emotional and religious needs and tailor care accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within patient records.
- Participate in an on-call weekend roster
About You
- Demonstrated experience in pastoral spiritual and bereavement care in a healthcare or similar setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to person-centred culturally safe inclusive care
- At least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (essential)
- Relevant qualifications in theology pastoral care or a related field (desirable)
