About the Role

bestchance Child Family Care is seeking an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (Level 13) to join our Childrens Therapy Services team supporting children aged 010 years and their families through evidence-based family-centered nutrition and feeding supports.

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will provide nutrition feeding and mealtime support to children with developmental delays disabilities and additional needs helping improve health wellbeing and participation in everyday life.

You will deliver both individual and group-based supports across clinic home kindergarten school and community settings while empowering families and educators to support positive nutrition and feeding outcomes.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy collaborating with families educators and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes for children.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Delivering paediatric nutrition and feeding assessments and interventions
  • Supporting children with feeding difficulties nutritional concerns and mealtime participation
  • Coaching parents carers and educators to build confidence and capability
  • Collaborating with Occupational Therapists Speech Pathologists Psychologists and Specialist Teachers
  • Delivering services across clinic home educational and community settings
  • Contributing to School Readiness Funding programs and group-based supports

What Were Looking For

  • Relevant qualification in Dietetics and accreditation as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia.
  • Experience working with children and families or a strong interest in paediatric practice
  • Experience within the NDIS or early childhood intervention sector is highly regarded but not essential
  • Current Working with children check
  • NDIS workers screening check (or willing to obtain)
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Passionate about early intervention and family-centred practice
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with families and educators
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • Minimum 3 days of commitment required.
  • You must hold a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
