The Opportunity
Supervise overhead electrification works on a metropolitan rail programme. This permanent full-time position is advertised to commence in January 2027 and reports to the superintendent.
Your Work
Coordinate crews and subcontractors and plan short-term construction and production activities.
Review overhead-contact-system designs and implement constructable approved solutions.
Lead safety environmental and quality risk controls and maintain site diaries and shift reports.
Develop leading hands and support effective workforce consultation.
Maintain technical quality and handover records and monitor subcontract performance.
Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
Relevant rail-traction qualifications and training including Certificate III ESI Rail Traction and MEL53.
Demonstrated rail overhead-wiring experience and 25 kV electrification capability.
Previous supervision and direct-labour supplier and subcontractor management.
Ability to interpret overhead-contact-system drawings and review constructability.
Strong safety focus and competence in records progress and performance reporting.
