As an Outage Coordinator you will be responsible for validating network outage requests to optimise efficiency and minimise customer impact. Your role will focus on ensuring clear and timely communication with customers affected by planned outages while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
As an Outage Coordinator you will engage with both internal and external stakeholders regularly and lead communications to inform customers about planned outages. The role is required to coordinate and submit NAO requests review processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose and manage incident responses in accordance with TasNetworks systems and procedures.
About you
If you hold an Electrical Practitioners Licence and/or an Advanced Diploma of ESI Power Systems OR if you have extensive practical expertise with industry experience and demonstrated experience in outage management and/or network operations we welcome your application.
The Outage Coordinator is a critical checkpoint before planned outages occur therefore exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential to the success of this role as is the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Youll bring:
Advanced skills in SAP Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) and data analysis with the ability to leverage insights to drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong focus on continuous improvement identifying efficient ways of working and contributing to the implementation of enhanced processes and outcomes.
Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong commitment to safety compliance customer service and operational excellence.
