We act for the roleAs the Specialist Workforce Capability & Engagement you will play a critical leadership role in building a skilledreadyand engaged Emergency Services workforce across your state or will lead the design and delivery of workforce capability initiatives that ensure our peoplestaff and volunteersare prepared to support communities before during and after emergencies. This includes coordinating training and development programs strengthening workforce engagement and driving a strong culture of readiness and continuous closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders you will assess workforce capabilityidentifygaps and implement targeted solutions that uplift performanceresilienceand response readiness. You will also support local teams to foster a motivatedconnectedand high-performing workforce aligned to Red Cross principles and is a dynamic and impactful role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced purpose-driven environment and is passionate about developing people and strengthening community outcomesWhat you will bringYou are a capable and experienced professional with a strong background in workforce engagement community development volunteermanagementor emergency bring demonstrated experience supporting workforce capability and readiness with the ability to coordinate activities engage diverse groups and contribute to meaningful outcomes indynamicenvironments. You are confident working both independently and collaboratively and can effectively prioritiseplanand deliver across competing communicationand interpersonal skills allow you to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
