In this Role

  • Lead and manage warehouse operations to deliver best-in-class performance in safety service people development and cost efficiency
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement implementing initiatives that enhance processes systems and team capability
  • Provide strong leadership to supervisors ensuring resource utilisation and operational costs remain within budget and aligned to business plans
  • Plan and execute operational activities and special events in collaboration with key stakeholders to minimize service disruptions and cost impacts
  • Monitor and report on operational and financial performance ensuring swift action to address issues and achieve targets
  • Champion workplace safety embedding proactive safety behaviours and compliance with WHS COR and HACCP standards
  • Build and develop a high-performing team fostering engagement capability growth and a culture that makes the site a great place to work
  • Collaborate on annual business planning and budgeting identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring operational expenditure is managed effectively

Youre Likely a Match If

  • Extensive experience in logistics operations within a high-volume fast-paced environment (5 years preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead large teams including managing and developing teams of 100 employees
  • Strong track record in health and safety leadership ensuring compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture
  • Hands-on experience with automated systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Transport Management Systems (TMS) knowledge is highly desirable
  • Commercial acumen with demonstrated budget and P&L accountability driving cost efficiency and operational performance
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire cultural change while delivering operational excellence
