Were looking for an experienced Operations managerto join our team in Brisbane. The position is responsible for handling shipments from conception to completion from liaising with customers & suppliers in an effective and timely manner whilst directing compiling and processing the necessary documentation to arranging transport and final invoicing.
Your typical day at DSV:
Carry out workflow processesin accordance withmanagement directive customer instructions SOPs and specified requirements.
Establishand maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external)suppliersand service providers both locally and overseas.
Read interpret and carry out instructions recorded on documents or within DSVs systems.
Communicate (verbal and written) with customers suppliers and other team members to obtain information or communicate issues.
Support theOperations managerwith day-to-day activities and other reasonable tasks and projects asrequired
Plan and prioritize shipments from the relevant CW1 workbenches to achieve milestone requirements designated KPIs and deadlines.
Ability toproblem solveoperational issues with a range of stakeholders including but notto limited: airlines shipping lines transport providers co-loaders and customers.
About you:
Adopt a customer-first approach prioritizing customer needs and expectations in all operations. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering reliable timely and cost-effective freight solutions.
Consistently achieving best performance driving operational excellence and meeting or exceeding KPIs.
Collaborate with team members to solve problems and achieve common goals. Promote cross-functional teamwork to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
