About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Onboarding & Transfers Lead to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Youll play a key role in shaping the onboarding and transfer experience ensuring customers are connected accurately compliantly and on time while driving operational excellence continuous improvement and strong business outcomes.

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding transfers and market transaction activities to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Drive improvements to activation transaction success rates and first-time-right outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Sales Digital Customer Contact Compliance and Technology teams to enhance customer journeys and operational performance.
  • Use data insights and automation opportunities to improve efficiency reduce customer effort and support scalable growth.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational risks process bottlenecks and customer pain points across the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Establish strong controls governance and performance frameworks to support compliance service quality and operational resilience.

About You

Youre a customer-focused operations leader with deep experience in the retail energy sector and a track record of improving complex processes. Youll bring strong analytical capability commercial awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders across a broad range of business functions.

  • Extensive experience in retail energy operations including market transactions billing metering and regulatory obligations.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data identify trends and implement practical solutions that improve performance.
  • Strong experience driving continuous improvement process optimisation and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management operational controls and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced skills in reporting and analysis tools such as Excel Power BI and SQL.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and external partners.
