As we continue to grow an exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and self-driven Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in building meaningful relationships and delivering exceptional customer service to prospective and existing Aged Care and NDIS participants.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and caring Occupational Therapist to join our team providing client-centred services that promote independence functional ability and overall this role you will support individuals with diverse physical psychosocial and developmental needs enabling them to participate in meaningful everyday activities.

As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will contribute to empowering clients to reach their goals and achieve greater independence in their daily lives. This opportunity allows for flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of functional abilities cognition and environmental factors

  • Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to support daily living and community participation

  • Recommend and prescribe assistive technology and home/environmental modifications

  • Deliver therapy to support skill development sensory processing cognition and mental health

  • Support goal setting using a person-centred strengths-based approach

  • Educate clients carers and families to enhance safety independence and wellbeing

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists nurses and support staff

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory and organisational standards

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

About You

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy is a must

  • Current registration with AHPRA (Occupational Therapy Board of Australia)

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience - new graduates encouraged to apply

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Valid drivers licence

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to delivering person-centred high-quality care

  • Can assess complex situations and develop tailored interventions that address physical cognitive and environmental factors

  • Experienced in accurate assessments documentation and intervention planning are vital for safe and effective care.
