The Kids Hub is an Early Intervention and Prevention mental health service supporting children aged 012 years and their families to strengthen mental health wellbeing and connection. The service provides a warm family-friendly entry point to therapeutic care with Care Navigators Child and Family Counsellors Peer Workers and Occupational Therapists working together to deliver holistic wraparound support.
Supporting children experiencing mild to moderate mental health and emotional challenges the Kids Hub offers a range of interventions including 1:1 counselling family sessions and group programs. The service is delivered in partnership with Koya Aboriginal Corporation MIFWA Pregnancy to Parenthood and Lifespan Psychology.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and provide therapeutic occupational therapy services to children aged 012 years.
Working from a strengths-based and family-centred approach you will support childrens developmental needs through assessment intervention consultation and collaboration with families schools and other professionals.
This role will provide the opportunity to:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Support children and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Provide education and consultation to families and professionals.
- Contribute to the development of an innovative new service.
