Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the health wellbeing and independence of individuals across the lifespan. Bringing enthusiasm compassion and initiative you will thrive working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

You will be committed to delivering high-quality person-centred care and supporting clients to achieve meaningful outcomes in their everyday lives.

If you have all or most of the below this role could be for you:

  • Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • A passion for rural and remote health and making a difference in the community
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients families and stakeholders

Whilst not a prerequisite previous experience in the following is highly regarded:

  • Experience working within community health disability NDIS aged care or paediatrics
  • Experience delivering services across varied caseloads
  • Knowledge of assistive technology home modifications and functional assessments
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

Your Role

As part of a supportive allied health team you will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to clients across a diverse caseload.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Delivering OT services to children adults and older persons
  • Conducting functional cognitive developmental and environmental assessments
  • Supporting participation in daily living school work and community activities
  • Recommending adaptive equipment home modifications and intervention strategies
  • Providing education and support to families carers and stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports
  • Contributing to community health and early intervention initiatives
