Job Summary
Optus Network Operations Centre (NOC) Managers play a pivotal role in leading our network monitoring and incident management operations.
Working on site at our coprarate head offices this represents a unique opportunity to coordinate and lead a team of Network Engineers ensuring flawless service delivery and network stability across our outstanding infrastructure.
The operating environment runs 24/7/365 so this position requires you to be committed to working a rotating roster pattern aligned to same.

What Youll Do
- Manage and align the duties of network engineers throughout the shift.
- Maintain ongoing supervision of all network infrastructure monitoring systems and dashboards.
- Address and coordinate the resolution of network incidents outages and performance alerts.
- Serve as the liaison between management and NOC engineers.
- Monitor prioritisation to optimise response times.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop training curriculum for NOC technicians.
What You Bring
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights (permanent residency or citizenship).
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in a similar role either within a Network Operations Centre or a comparable 24/7 operational setting.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure monitoring tools and incident management procedures.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and respond effectively to urgent issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership capability with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and technological advancements.
