• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 2:00am 10:00am

Cochranes Transport is seeking an experienced and motivatedFull-Time Night Operations Team Leaderto join our Berri depot. Reporting directly to the Depot Manager this is a key hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment and enjoys leading a team to deliver high-quality results.

As the Night Operations Team Leader you will oversee all overnight operational activities to ensure safe efficient and accurate freight handling. You will work closely with drivers warehouse staff and the Depot Manager to maintain smooth depot operations during the early-morning shift.

• Lead support and coordinate night-shift staff
• Oversee loading and unloading of freight to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to meet deadlines
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed at all times
• Conduct shift briefings reporting and detailed handovers to the Depot Manager and daytime leadership
• Assist in problem-solving customer service issues and operational improvements

• Previous experience in transport logistics or depot operations (leadership experience highly regarded)
• Strong communication leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work autonomously during overnight operations
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• MR license essential
• LF license with experience essential
