About the role:
We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer on a part-time basis to join our payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager in this role youll manage end-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume environment maintain employee records interpret time and attendance data process leave and termination payments and ensure compliance with payroll legislation Awards taxation and superannuation requirements. Youll also partner closely with managers internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll queries. This is a Part-time position working 3 days a week based at our Wollongongoffice.
About you:
To be the successful candidate you will have:
- 3 years payroll experience
- Experience processing payroll within a high-volume environment highly regarded
- Technology One experience highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of payroll legislation awards and compliance
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Positive attitude and team-first approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full working rights as this is a permanent role
