Make an Impact

As an NDIS Funding Officer youll work closely with our front-line Service Delivery teams ensuring the delivery of high-quality enabling services that help them guide our customers their families and key stakeholders throughout their NDIS journey.

Youll use your knowledge of the NDIS to provide guidance to your internal stakeholders helping them to understand NDIS plans prepare our clients for planning and review meetings and ensure their goals and support needs are clearly represented.

Building strong relationships will be at the heart of your role. Youll coordinate with internal and external stakeholders improving the client experience through efficient administrative practices enabling our customers to receive the supports that achieve their goals and fit within their NDIS funding.

Key duties of this role are to:

• Support the administration of the NDIS onboarding planning and review processes.
• Prepare documentation that supports our customers advocate for their support needs during NDIA planning and review meetings.
• Complete accurate and fit-for-purpose NDIS planning documentation.
• Build strong relationships with our front-line service delivery teams internal stakeholders NDIS Support Coordinators and Plan Managers.
• Work closely with Service Delivery teams to understand customer goals and support requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of the NDIS and share information and guidance with Service Delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Manage a caseload effectively ensuring actions and deadlines are followed through.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and positive customer experiences across our services.

Youre a customer-focused professional who understands the NDIS and is passionate about supporting our frontline Service Delivery teams help people with disability achieve positive outcomes.

Youll be confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and comfortable navigating complex situations. Youre organised proactive and able to manage competing priorities while ensuring customers remain at the centre of your decisions.

To succeed in this role you will have:

• Strong working knowledge of the NDIS and its planning and review processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders Support Coordinators Plan Managers nominees or decision makers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to manage an administrative caseload.
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes.
• A customer-focused and person-centred approach.
• Qualifications in Business Human Services or a related discipline are advantageous but not essential.

You will be required to undertake aFit2Work National Criminal History Check andhold or be willing to obtain aBlue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
