About the role
For those interested in immersing themselves in a professional and aspirational environment that supports your success and ongoing learning and development we welcome applications for apermanent full-timeMathematics and ScienceTeacher in Year 7 commencing in 2027 or earlier by negotiation.
You will play a key role in delivering an interdisciplinary experiential program connecting learning to the real world and contributing to the ongoing development of our Middle School pedagogical model.
Applicants must have a positive attitude and a proven record of excellence in teaching that incorporates evidenced-based practice in an engaging and supportive manner.
What you will be doing
Supporting the collaborative designoftheYear 7 curriculum across Mathematics and Science
Contributing to co-curricular programs and broader initiativesacross theSchoolscampuses
Facilitating authentic learning experiences including Urban Adventures and partnership-based programs
Participating in professional learning reflectivepracticeand continuous improvement activities
Undertakingadministrativeorganisationaland supervisory requirements
Enablingstudent wellbeing through pastoral care relationshipbuildingand activeengagement with families
Other duties asrequiredcommensuratewith your teaching role
Working in partnership with cross-campus staff members to create a work environment that is conducive to academic growth and success.
What we are looking for
- An experienced educator with recent experience teaching Middle School Mathematics and Science
- Senior school teaching experience is desirable
- Passionate about contemporary pedagogy and adolescent development
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students parents staff and externals stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills with the capacity to work across faculties and with external partners
- Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
