Job Summary

We are currently seeking motivated and hands-on Metallurgical Technicians to join our team on a casual basis supporting on-site operations across mineral processing and metallurgical testwork activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals looking to build experience in a dynamic fast-paced environment with exposure to both plant and laboratory operations.

Responsibilities include however not limited to:

  • Undertake sample management activities including labelling receipting inventory preparation and storage
  • Perform routine gold recovery testwork including cyanide leach testing
  • Ensure process control equipment (density gauges particle size indicators autosamplers) are calibrated and fully operational
  • Provide daily equipment performance updates
  • Assist plant operators with maintenance and optimisation of process equipment
  • Assist project metallurgists with survey sampling collector trials and laboratory-scale testwork
  • Interpret and report data to metallurgists highlighting anomalies and supporting timely decision-making
  • Maintain accurate data entry and concentrate handling records

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current C Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
  • Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • 12 years experience in minerals processing production or laboratory environments
  • Exposure to metallurgical testing or laboratory operations
  • Familiarity with a range of commodities and processing unit operations
  • Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety practices
  • High attention to detail with solid data recording and reporting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in both plant and laboratory settings
