Were offering a $4000 sign-on bonus for compassionate and experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing substance use challenges while ensuring a safe and supportive setting within a primary care framework. Be part of a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred high-quality trauma informed care. Youll complete comprehensive assessments and care plans implement and evaluate care to support the health and wellbeing of individuals in detention.
This role offers a diverse clinical scope including immunisations blood collection wound care health assessments care planning medication administration and health education. Youll provide care that respects the dignity culture values and rights of each person contributing to a safe inclusive and compassionate healthcare environment.
Lets talk about you!
You are an AHPRA-registered Nurse (General unrestricted) with at least five years of clinical experience including hands-on patient care in mental health in an operational (non-Telehealth) setting.
You hold a postgraduate qualification in mental health (AQF-recognised) and bring strong prioritisation critical thinking and decision-making skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team you adapt easily to changing circumstances while delivering high-quality care that meets the evolving needs of detainees.
