The Role

You willbe a trusted ambassador for MEA buildingrapport withmembers through regular communication and on-site visits. With some travel across SE QLD youwillprovide valuable support to help members navigate a fast-changing responsibilities include:

• Providingguidance onlegislation regulationsCodes of Practices and Standards
• Facilitatingconductingand growing regular fee-for-service offerings such as safety meetings safety system audits bespoke documentcreationand consultations (i.e. SWMS policies & procedures)
• Promoting MEA services and products especially those of a safety environmental/energy quality and technical nature
• Product and service development as well as access to information and updates affecting safety and technical performanceincluding those related to MEAsSafety Program CME Compliance Made Easy.
• Mentoringand trainingmembers whilst delivering formalised business growth programssuch as theMaster program
• All activitiesbeing focused on providing value formembers andbeing member first.

To join theteamyou will have gained experience in the electrical fieldhavean understandingofelectricalsafetystandards andlegislationand have ahigh degree of drive and initiative with the ability to pivot as theday changes.

What we are looking for:

• A recognisedtradequalificationas anElectrical Fitter/Mechanic(HighlyDesired)
• Relevant post trade experience from either a residentialcommercialor industrial field and/or a combination of these areas(HighlyDesired)
• Experiencewithinthe electrical contracting and/ortheelectrical wholesale industry(HighlyDesired)
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment andCert IV in OH&S qualifications (or the ability to undertake these courses upon commencement within the role)(Desired)
• Proventrack recordof coaching andor mentoring experience(Desired)
