Mechanical Trade Assistants 4 Day Working Week, Great OT !

We are seeking two reliable and physically fit Trades Assistants to join a busy specialist team working on commercial and industrial cooling tower maintenance and installation projects.

This is hands-on work assisting a skilled tradesperson across rooftops in the Brisbane CBD in addition to Brisbanes Northern and Southern suburbs. Youll be part of a small well-supported crew with a firm start date of Tuesday 9th June 2026.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Assisting with the installation and maintenance of cooling towers using hand and power tools on high-rise commercial and industrial buildings
• Carrying parts and equipment (up to 15kg) up stairs
• Passing tools and materials to the tradesperson and helping with on-site fabrication/component preparation
• Working safely at heights and in all weather conditions (with appropriate weather gear)
• General site support and preparation work for each project

HOURS & ROSTER

• Tuesday to Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm (4-day weeks / 10-hour days)
• Regular overtime available (mainly earlier starts or occasional Saturdays)
• No Sunday work

WHAT YOU NEED

• Current White Card (General Construction Induction) is required
• Current Working at Heights ticket is highly desirable but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of lifting 15kg and climbing stairs repeatedly
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools (impact drivers cordless drills etc.)
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor/rooftop conditions
• Reliable transport and a positive attitude
