Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical or Structural Engineer with 3-5 years experience to join ourteam in Gladstone. This role offers the chance to work on diverse high-impact projects from initial design through to commissioning combining technical expertise with project delivery in a collaborative fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

  • Execute design tasks ensuring adherence to design specifications standards and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers project managers and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs.
  • Provide technical support throughout the design phase including calculations modeling and documentation.
  • Participate in the design process and drawing management ensuring accuracy and quality from concept to delivery.
  • Uphold Quality Assurance processes supporting client-required reporting and compliance.
  • Support project management activities to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify design implementation address challenges and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels from administrative teams and design groups to executive management demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical/ Civil/ Structural Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in consultancy and EPCM.
  • Exposure to project management and site-based project work preferably in mining or resources sectors.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical/ structural design principles and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in executing design tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively acrossmultidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
