We are seeking an experienced Mechanical MaintenanceFitterwith strong general maintenance and vital repairs on a wide range of parts plant and infrastructurewithin the FMCG industry for our privately owned mondern manufacturing site in the Northern Suburbs.

• Perform general maintenance and vital repairs on a wide variety of parts plant infrastructure and manufacturing machinery.
• Executing rapid-responebreakdown trouble shooting to minimize production down timeand fault finding activities
• Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability of site equipment.
• Carrying out routine and unplanned mechanical tasks as they arise in the production area.
• Assisting with general ad-hoc facility and equipment tasks to further support the broader operations team.
• To adhere to all safe hygiene practices in place whilst working in the manufacturing area

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential) - ideally in FMCG
• Relevant Australian trade qualification(essential)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
• Basic stainless steel weldingskills (advantage)
• Basic Machining skills (advantage)
• Strong commitment to safety
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently

• Competitive hourly rates $61.00 Plus Allowance
