We are seeking an experienced Mechanical MaintenanceFitterwith strong preventative and breakdown maintenance experience for a ongoing role with a leading packaging manufacturer in the Northern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fitting duties on Manufacturing Equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance breakdown response and fault finding activities
- Support manufacturing improvement as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings manuals and work instructions to complete tasks safely and accurately
- Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS requirements quality standards and site procedures
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential)
- Relevant Australian trade qualification(essential)
- Experience in Manufacturing industrial environments (advantage)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
- Basic welding skills (advantage)
- Basic Machining skills (advantage)
- Strong commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
